Gusau based FC Zamfara who are campaigning in group A4 of the Northern Conference in the 2019 Nigeria National League, NNL season, will have their next three home games played behind closed doors and will pay a quarter million naira (N250.000.00) for breaching the guiding rules of Association football, in their match day one against Jigawa Golden Stars of Deutse.
This is predicated by articles 16.0-16,4.1-26 and 27.1 which found them guilty of contravening such sections of the rule book.
Official reports indicted supporters of FC Zamfara over violent behaviours after the match at the Sardauna Memorial stadium Gusau.
The Supporters of FC Zamfara allegedly encroached the pitch, harassed, intimidated and beat up the referees.
The NNL in taking summary jurisdiction warned FC Zamfara to produce the attackers(Assailants) of the match arbiters on or before Saturday 27 April,2019 or be prepared to face more punitive measures.
FC Zamfara also risks the chance of banishment from their home if they fail to stop a re- occurrence of the ugly development in the future, the NNL stated further.
